From the bean to the cup: how Daloma Caffè was born

Overseeing the coffee bean’s journey—from the country where it’s grown to the moment it reaches your cup—is how our roastery takes care of our customers and ensures high quality standards.
We’re transparent about our processing and distribution methods because we believe this is the best way to make our customers aware of our commitment.
Not all coffee breaks taste the same: the expertise and passion of those who have been working with these small beans for generations shine through with every sip.

How Daloma Caffè Was Born

Our blends are the result of a few well-structured steps, which we developed after careful research and a period of experimentation.
To this day, Daloma follows the same process that combines craftsmanship and technical innovation.

The Origin

The coffee plant grows only in the area of the equator and at specific altitudes. Therefore identify the best plantations is the key to define the final taste that goes in the cup. Daloma Caffè chooses only the best Arabica producersfrom Central and South America.

Storage

After its long journey, the coffee arrives in our warehouses, where we make sure that it retains its freshness and optimal quality, thanks to a series of very strict controls that carefully monitor the beans.

Blending

It is in the blending phase that the secrets of this ancient craft are hidden: the choice of proportions guides the final taste and aroma. The experience gained and the knowledge of art handed down from generation to generation makes our blends perfect, the result of over seventy years of family history and passion.

Roasting

Coffee roasting (or toasting) is the phase when the beans are subjected to high temperatures to allow them to develop all their qualities. We respect the natural times of coffee, in line with our craftsmanship. An extremely delicate moment is when coffe beans goes out from the roaster: who knows sapiently when ending the roaster machine is the roaster employe, influencing in this way the final aromas taste.

Packaging and distribution

Once the cooling process is complete, it is time for packaging and distribution. These last two phases also take place in such a way as to keep the fragrances unaltered. We guarantee regular deliveries within the times agreed with our customers
